  • Business Project and Presentation: A project that looks at an opportunity/challenge/idea to make an improvement to the business. Apprentices have 2 months to research and write up the project, followed by a 30-minute presentation to the employer and an endpoint independent assessor.

  • Professional Discussion: 1.5-hour discussion led by the independent end-point assessor


Level 4 Hospitality Manager Apprenticeship EPA


Learners complete:

  • On-Demand Test: Multiple-choice test with scenario-based questions that lasts a maximum of 1.5 hours

  • Business Project: Apprentices should look at an opportunity/challenge/idea to make an

    improvement to the business. Apprentices have 2 months to research and write up the project, which should be submitted at least 7 working days before the professional discussion

  • Professional Discussion: 1.5-hour structured discussion led by the independent end-point assessor, which includes apprentice reflection on feedback
