This programme develops the knowledge and skills needed to support and engage young people effectively.
Learners apply their learning in real settings, helping young people build confidence, resilience and life skills.
Delivery Model

Blended, workplace-led learning
Through monthly workshops, 1:1 support and practical youth work experience, learning is embedded in real time.
The programme builds from core theory and safeguarding through to planning, delivering and evaluating youth work.
Assessment

End-Point Assessment (EPA)
The assessment includes a practical observation and professional discussion, supported by experienced tutors throughout.
This ensures learners can confidently demonstrate their ability to support young people in real environments.
Functional skills

English and Maths Requirements
Support is provided to achieve Level 2 where required, and this is typically completed early in the programme.
This helps strengthen essential communication and numeracy skills needed for working with young people.
