Learner of the Month March 2026
Apprentice Spotlight: Victor Adeloye is completing the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship while working as a Children’s Support Worker at Kedleston Group. Through the programme with Momentous Learning, he is developing practical coaching skills that help him support young people to build confidence, reflect and discover their own solutions.
Our Learner of the Month for March 2026 is Victor Adeloye, who works at Kedleston Group and is currently completing the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship.
Victor works as a Children’s Support Worker in a residential setting, supporting young people with their daily lives, behaviour and emotional wellbeing. His role focuses on helping young people build confidence, reflect on challenges and develop the skills they need to move forward.
Why Victor chose the Coaching Professional Apprenticeship
Victor chose the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship because coaching closely reflects the way he already supports the young people he works with.
He believes coaching helps individuals recognise their own strengths and discover solutions for themselves, rather than simply being given answers.
“Coaching aligns closely with the way I already work with young people. I like helping people think for themselves and realise they already have the solutions within them.”
For Victor, the apprenticeship offered an opportunity for genuine professional development, helping him strengthen his communication skills and confidence while continuing to support others.
“I wanted genuine development for myself, not just a qualification on paper. I wanted to grow in confidence, improve how I communicate and become better at supporting the people around me.”
Developing coaching skills in practice
One of the most valuable aspects of the coaching apprenticeship has been the ability to apply learning directly in the workplace.
Each coaching session and piece of feedback links back to Victor’s everyday role, helping him reflect on how he communicates and supports young people in a more thoughtful and structured way.
“Every coaching session connects back to my real work, which has made the whole experience incredibly meaningful.”
Looking ahead
Looking ahead, Victor hopes to continue developing as a professional coaching practitioner. He plans to embed coaching techniques more confidently into his daily work and support both young people and colleagues through coaching conversations.
In the longer term, he would like to move into a leadership or mentoring role, where he can continue supporting others to grow.
When asked what advice he would give to anyone considering an apprenticeship, Victor’s message is simple:
“Go for it. There will be moments of doubt, but that discomfort is where the growth happens. Be open to feedback, believe in yourself and step outside your comfort zone.”
Supporting coaching development through apprenticeships
At Momentous Learning, the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship helps professionals develop coaching skills that can be applied directly in their workplace, supporting leadership development, communication and confidence.
Congratulations again to Victor Adeloye, our Learner of the Month for March 2026, and we look forward to seeing his continued development as a coaching professional.
